indian giver

so just when i think my life is drama free, BAAM drama! well i am not really going to get into that. but i do have a question that i would like an answer to, regarding the drama that has recently occurred.

1. If someone gives you something does that make it yours? or is it still their's for the taking?

i believe when i was younger i was taught not to be an "indian giver" and once you give someone something its there's for good unless they decide to give it back. maybe im wrong? maybe somewhere along the way i completely misunderstood everything that i was taught?

(below i will state in orange what it was that i could have misunderstood and after in blue i will state what i know i was really taught)

maybe i was really told it was okay to be an indian giver? - Indian Giver- meaning one who gives a gift but later takes it back
or that really your suppose to treat others how you wouldnt want to be treated? - Treat others the way you would want to be treated.
and maybe stick and stones cant break my bones and your words will always hurt me? - Sticks and stones may break my bones but your words will never hurt me.

i mean dont get me wrong i know people are brought up differently but isnt that all just common courtesy!?

well thats all for today. i am going to go use some of my frustration and clean! everyone knows a good clean is a mad clean!

God Bless!
