Cloud 9

A week ago yesterday i took a pregnancy test. The test was positive..i was in shock! I honestly didnt think i was pregnant but i hadnt started my period yet so i took the test just in case! Now I have wanted this all my life- to be a mom! First thing i did was call my mom, told her i thought i was pregnant my voice and hands were shaking! Next thing i did was call my husband who was working at the time! I didnt announce it til tuesday because i wanted to go to the doctors first to make sure that the test was correct! Well Rob didnt really believe a little stick could tell you that you were pregnant so i took another one when he got home from work to show him that they are accurate! And it was indeed a positive!! We are both so excited for this! Being parents is something that we have both wanted for quite some time now!! If you didnt believe it when i said it before about us growing up and being more mature and our priorities changing..well.. you better believe it now!! At this moment we are on cloud nine and couldnt be happier!! My next apt is jan 6th, Rob may have to work but my friend Alexis has offered to go with me!! Im excited and nervous at the same time, not sure what to expect!

True Friends

While i was home, I saw a couple friends whom i was dying to see! I have greatly missed everyone from back home so i was crazy excited to see them. I could tell some people had changed and just werent the same, and im sure some had thought the same about me! But i am glad i got to see those who matter and those who also  made an effort to see me!

The person i saw the most other than family was my friend Danielle, her and i have definitely been through alot since our friendship started in sixth grade! And somehow even back then i knew it would be a friendship that lasted not matter what was thrown our way! Her and i have still remained close even through the move, we talk everyday..just like nothing has changed! Shes a great friend, never a dull moment when us two are together!!

 But There were a couple friends who had told me to make sure i get to see them, but when i got there they didnt reply to my texts or were too busy. i get that people are busy and have their own lives, but i was home ten days! And they knew i was coming, it wasnt like i just showed up out of the blue!. Plus its like if your someones Best Friend and you havent seen them in months and you come home for a little over a week and they cant make time for you, kind of hurts and makes you question ones friendship! Its like since i moved down here a few close friends (best friends even) have completely shoved me out of their lives! We definitely dont talk like we use to! Its sad! But i guess, maybe it just gave me a glimps of what it will be like when we move back to ohio when rob is out of the army!

But one thing i am most definitely glad about and while i was home i missed quite much, i have made a few great friends down here!

One i work with her name is Alexis, we seem to have alot in common! I love working with her, shes sooo much fun! She invited me to go trick or treating with her and her baby cousins when she knew i had nothing to do! Her and i get along so well! She has a great family, they invited me to Thanksgiving dinner when they knew rob was working, although i didnt go but they understood!! We talk about everything together, she gives me advice and i do the same in return! Recently Rob and i went to a Christmas dinner at their house, it was a blast!! She's just so out going and easy to get along with!

The other one is Alysa, shes pretty great, her family is awesome! They are all so kind hearted! I would probably be lost with out this girl! She knows the ins and outs and the do's and dont's! Her and i seem to have alot in common, we were both cheerleaders, her longer than i. And we both love to play softball! We are both creative and love seeing what we can do and how far it can take us! I have so much fun with this girl, its not even funny! We usually send each other good morning texts and talk throughout the day! Alysa and her husband Anthony have welcomed me into their home for dinner several times while Rob has been working late and they've also had both of us over for dinner like for Thanksgiving dinner, that sure was a fun time! They can cook a mean steak thats for sure! Their girls are the most adorable, sweet, precious little girls i have ever met! They sure did a great job with them!! OH and they are expecting their 3rd child!!! i could not be more happy for them! Thats so exciting!

Then theres Maesie, Her and i havent hung out much yet due to rob, i's along with her hubbys work schedules! but when we have hung out its always been fun! Double dates, seeing movies, drinks and games. All that fun stuff! I am hoping to get more of a chance to hang out with her and get to know her a little better!! She seems like a great person, her and her hubby are both so very nice!

Dont get me wrong i still have great friends back home, and i still talk to some of them..But im here right now, with all of  these great people i have mentioned above! And im definitely going to make the best of it..how can i not, with such great friends!? And no matter what all of them will still be my friends!

And i will always (try to) keep in touch with all of my great friends back home. A few of them i still talk to daily, its like nothing has changed at all!

"hard times dont last forever but true friends do..ill always be there for anything you need, even if its just to listen"

A friend of mine messaged me on facebook as soon as she knew we were back in town. She told me she had some fun and cute ideas for holiday photos and was wondering if rob and i would be willing to help her out! Of course i said yes! I love helping people and stuff like that is always so much fun! It wasnt too cold out side either! Dont get me wrong it wasnt warm but it also wasnt freezing! So it wasnt all that bad! She had a lovely little helper as well! Her son did a great job helping her out! I'll post on of the pictures She had taken of us, but for the others click on the link!!

Home

The night we got home we decided we would put up OUR Christmas tree! My mom gave us a Fake 6ft. tree she had! We were/are oh so grateful for that! We were so excited to have our first tree, we hurried up and brought everything in from the car and put it all away for the most part. Then we got our tree out, We realized we must have forgotten the stand back home! So we went to the store and bought a stand, although it was a stand for a real tree..it still worked! We worked together to set up the tree! I absolutely love it, and of course i took pictures, and no worries i will post them!!

i love being able to start our own traditions and creating new memories!

My side of the families family dinner, also went very well! We all got along and had lots of laughs! It was a great time! We had ours at my Grandmas, Mom, sierra, tab, david, meliah, rob and i were all there! The food was delicious! I loved it! Family time, is my favorite time! (:

Rob's side

We went to Jamies saturday night, to help her get around for the family dinner on Sunday! We all stayed up til 2am catching up, watched a movie, laughed, talk..it was a great time! Sunday came around, I helped Jamie as much as i could with getting the girls ready, Rob helped to keep them busy and our of Jamies way so that she could be get everything ready! Dale went to the store. Rob and i made puppy chow! Around noon, everyone else started showing up! Amber and her friend helped with peeling potatoes. Trish, Robs parents came with the rest of the food's! It was so nice seeing everyone together again!
